Meet the Team
Dr. Jesse R. Gridley
Dr. Gridley grew up in the beautiful north woods of Minnesota, where he originally studied to be a physician like his grandfather. Then he lived in both China and Japan for over half a decade, and taught English to university students and learned to speak Mandarin and Japanese. Still passionate about helping others, Dr. G found that dentistry held the depth of service he had been looking for in medicine, with even more of an ability to take good care of patients.
Dr. Gridley moved to Oregon and completed his DMD at Oregon Health and Sciences University, and has since been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry. In 2009, his grandfather Dr. John Gridley, Sr. passed away at age 99, but not before telling Dr. G how glad he was that his grandson chose dentistry as his path to serve the community.
His emphasis on patient comfort and education, as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry, enable him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Gridley has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical treatments and root canal treatments.
His approach to your treatment begins with patiently listening to you. Then after a complete and thorough examination, he reviews and discusses the diagnosis and all treatment options with you, and takes the time to answer any questions you may have. Dr. G finds great enjoyment in being able to build relationships and have a positive impact in the health and confidence of his patients.
Kimberly has been in hygiene for over 33 years, and enjoys the strong bonds she has formed with her patients. For many of you, she has known you through all the stages of your lives, and she feels so honored to be a part of that. She wants to provide all of her patients with the opportunity to be healthier and she feels honored to be able to help with the preventative and maintenance aspect of dentistry. Kimberly is a member of the Gum Gardener’s Study Club, where she is updated with the most current education and techniques. Not only does she have a very thorough and gentle technique, but she also has access to the most current hygiene technology available in dentistry.
Kimberly is a Portland native, and loves taking advantage of all the outdoor adventures this area has to offer; kayaking, hiking, camping, biking, and going to Oregon State football games. Although, she really enjoys loving on her grandchildren Kaylee (6) and Emmitt (3 months), and spending time with her wonderful family and friends.
“I am in awe of Dr. Gridley’s very caring level of work, and I think the world of his beautiful dentistry. I pride myself in going above and beyond to provide the upmost quality for each patient. I enjoy my life outside of the office, but dental hygiene is where I find my joy. I feel such gratitude for the trust my patients give, and having such an impact on their health holds so much meaning to me!”
Jenny grew up in Laurelhurst, so it’s like coming home working here every day. It’s really special to her to be back in her old neighborhood. She lives in NW Portland with her family, three dogs Palmer (yes named after the great golfer Arnold Palmer), Parker and Zuko, and two cats Niko & Buddy…it’s a full house filled with love!
She enjoys anything outdoors… golfing, hiking, kayaking, BBQ-ing, college football games, and NASCAR races, spending time with her family playing cards and board games, camping, and cooking.
Jenny has been in dentistry for 13 years, and really enjoys coming to work every day! The world of insurance is forever changing; however, she tries to be as knowledgeable as she can, and a go-to for you to dissect the confusing insurance lingo. She enjoys making that connection with our patient’s. She cares about our patient’s needs, concerns, and fears. Dental anxiety is really common and she feels that it’s her job to “love you through it.”
Laura has over 9 years of business management experience, and has so much appreciation for her ability to spend every day in a doctor owned practice where the focus can be on patient care. She has a lot of fun working alongside team members who are such perfectionists in each of their crafts, and who truly care about and enjoy the company of our amazing patients.
Laura grew up in the Portland area, and enjoys discovering new restaurants (if you have a favorite, be sure to let her know!), hiking local trails with her husband and little dog Gurgi, and reading the latest mystery novels.
